Statement

Date: Feb. 28, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

In advance of President Donald Trump's first Joint Address to the United States Senate and House of Representatives, Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18) shared his perspective on coming together as a nation:

"I look forward to hearing from the President this evening. I am committed to working with my colleagues and the President to move our region and country forward. We have a lot of work ahead of us and I am confident that we can come together on issues of importance to Southwestern Pennsylvanians like delivering affordable and accessible healthcare, building on my crisis mental health reforms signed into law under the Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act, rebuilding our coal and manufacturing sector, and improving care for our veterans."
